Using a wrong type of HD PE PP plastic bags is similar to driving The "Ferrari to the market
After working with hundreds of factory clients, we've found over 60% are using "grade higher than necessary" — like buying a Ferrari to haul vegetables. Performance unused, full price paid.
Real example: A factory used food-grade virgin PE bags to wrap machine parts inside a box. End customer throws the wrapping away regardless — but they paid 35% more than needed. However, they can just use the recycle grade of plastic bags such as Grade A1, AB, B or C. Even though the plastic bag is more opaque, it is still useable, cost-effective, and significantly more environmentally sustainable.

PE vs HD plastic bags—What's the difference?
Property | PE (LDPE/LLDPE) | HD (HDPE) |
Touch | Soft, stretchy | Crinkly, makes noise |
Clarity | Crystal clear | Cloudy but high tensile |
Cold resistance | Cold room / freezer OK | OK but not as flexible |
Heat sealing | Easy, machine-friendly | Needs higher temperature |
Best for | Cold goods, food, frozen, display packs | Carrier bags, trash bags, solid goods |

PE plastic bags Grades — 4 Levels
PE A (Virgin LLDPE): Top grade, softest, clearest — food contact, bakery, heat-seal film
PE A1 (Virgin/Recycle blend): Industrial wrap, logistics — ~10-15% cheaper than Virgin
PE AB (Mid Recycle): Industrial packaging, wrap, dust cover — ~20-25% cheaper
PE C (Clean Recycle): White, cleanest recycle — liners, covers, construction. 30-40% savings
HD plastic bags — 4 Levels
HD A (Virgin): Premium clear, strong, light — retail carrier bags, brand packaging
HD AB (Mid Grade): Slight haze, mid-strength — general industrial use — ~10-15% cheaper than Virgin
HD B (Cloudy): Noticeable haze, color drift — large factory wrap — ~20-25% cheaper
HD C (Lowest): Heavy haze, dark tone (multi-cycle recycle) color garbage bags— large trash bags, construction lining 30-40% savings
Selection Rule between HD or PE plastic bags: Clearer = Pricier / Cloudier = Cheaper
Food contact / product display → move left (Virgin)
Industrial / cost-focused → move right (Recycle)
Construction lining / discard wrap → bottom grade
